The most unexpected event of the two-day competition was Grande Rio's use of a Rocket Belt as a part of their show. I could not take a picture of it flying (blame me for delaying the purchase of a Canon D30 + plus a good tele lens). At least two Rocket Belts were used (the ones on the picture). I had not seen a Rocket Belt in action before so I did some research on the net and this is what I found (you might find the first two links informative and the last one interesting):

RB2000

Detroit News article

It seems that one of the Rocket Belts used in the show - the one with the red middle (Nitrogen) tank -was the RB2000. The one with the green tank is is different.
