After the last fazenda (60 km from Porto Jofre) the bridges become pretty bad. I crossed four pretty bad bridges. Each of them was 7 - 10 meters long but took 10 minutes to cross. I gave up on the fifth bad bridge - if you get stuck here it will be for a long time. An old pick-up truck passes twice a week over this bridge carrying fish from Porto Jofre. My truck is narrower and the wood boards were too far apart. Also, the truck which goes here carries some lumber for the really bad bridges. People "repair" the bridge so that they could pass safely and then "take it aparrt" again after that.
